Alcobendas, 9 February 2022 — Centro de Estudios Garrigues’ programmes are at the top of the ranking published today published by todojuristas.com — the leading legal products website in Spain and Latin America — as part of its new Masters in Law guide. Our programmes are ranked among the best in six of the nine categories included and took the top position in four of them. The study was especially aimed at legal science students and examined the best master’s degree programmes of access to the legal profession and specialisation in Spain.
Our master’s degree programmes ranked number one in the areas of business law, tax advice, international law, and sports law. Our Master in Employment Law and our Executive Master in Digital Law & Technology also made the top three of their respective categories. As a whole, Centro de Estudios Garrigues stood out as the best-rated higher education institution among those listed in the Masters in Law guide. The guide offers a detailed description of each programme, explains the content and courses taught, and includes an extensive overview of the career opportunities available to students.
This recognition is further acknowledgement of Centro de Estudios Garrigues’ levels of excellence and exigence that enable us to stand out at the top of the most prestigious rankings, with programmes that combine academic quality and employability. Our academic director, Mercedes de Prada Rodríguez, noted that these results ‘are the best outcome’ and explained that all of our students ‘pass the exam to access the legal profession every year and earn prestigious degrees that ensure 100 per cent employability.’
When compiling the ranking, todojuristas.com considered criteria such as the recognition of companies, lawyers, and other legal experts practising internationally; the assessment of firms and lawyers; and the opinion of former students who have already completed their degrees. The process also included measuring the reputation of the institutions offering the master’s degrees and analysing each of the programmes, with special focus on the faculty, duration, price, and employability.
This year, based on our twenty-seven years of experience in training highly qualified professionals, we have designed a new Bachelor in Law that will begin in September 2022 and respond to the demand for professionals who know how to face the great social challenges of our times. With this new Bachelor in Law, our goal is to train the best students in the legal realm as well as in the business sector, in a digital society, and in a global world. These three pillars will be the foundation of this four-year joint degree that offers students a Bachelor in Law and a Master in International Business Law.
