Studying at Centro de Estudios Garrigues is an opportunity to enjoy a unique experience while getting to see the Spanish business world up close. Networking is one of the most important assets for any professional, and our exclusive selection process puts the best students in touch with our outstanding faculty — many of whom are partners at Garrigues.
What’s more, the prime location of Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid opens up a wide range of cultural and leisure activities for those studying with us.
In view of the growing demand for training, especially from students in the Americas, Centro de Estudios Garrigues strives to provide prospective applicants with as much information as possible about the programmes on offer.
We want to make it as easy as possible for international students and Spanish students living abroad to enrol. Therefore, this special admission process, although consisting of the same stages as the standard process, can be carried out without having to travel to the Centro de Estudios Garrigues’ head office.
Who is this special admission process for?
The special admission process to study a programme at Centro de Estudios Garrigues is intended for:
How do I apply using the special admission process?
Some of the stages of the process may be carried out in your place of origin, avoiding the need to travel to the Centro de Estudios Garrigues’ head office. To benefit from this option, you must submit a request by email to the admissions department (admisiones@centrogarrigues.com).
The admissions department will then contact you to discuss and coordinate the admission process based on your specific circumstances. Only requests with express justification for reasons such as work, study, inability to travel, etc. will be considered.
How is the special admission process carried out?
The special admission process will be carried out as determined, in each specific case, by the admissions department. It may be done via videoconference, phone, or any other means made possible by the latest technology. If necessary, any elements of the process that may be pending can be finalised or details confirmed when the applicant travels to Spain to study in the programme.
What documents do I need when applying for admission?
The filled-in application form must be accompanied by the following documents:

Applicants who successfully complete these assessments will be invited for a personal interview.
Our programmes have a limited number of places. Therefore, to be awarded a place, applicants must pay a ‘reservation fee’ as indicated in their conditional or unconditional admission letter, provided there are still places available at the time such payment is made.
In any event, should the applicant fail to provide proof of payment within fifteen days of receiving the admission letter, Centro de Estudios Garrigues may withdraw the offer.
The following documents must be submitted to Centro de Estudios Garrigues when reserving a place in one of our programmes:
The reservation fee is non-refundable. A refund will be issued only to applicants who, having a ‘conditional admission letter’, are unable to demonstrate they fulfil the requirements to access graduate studies by the start of the master’s degree programme.
Payment of the reservation fee may be made using any of the following methods:
Proof of payment or transfer must be submitted to Centro de Estudios Garrigues without delay, by post or fax, clearly indicating the name of the student and programme. The reservation will not be effective until proof of payment is received by the admissions department.
All other payments can be made in one of the following ways:
In any event, the full amount of tuition will be considered due on the first day of the academic year, regardless of whether payment is partially deferred.
Citizens of European Union member states are not required to apply for a visa or residence permit to study in Spain. However, international students who are not Spanish citizens or citizens of a European Union member state must apply for a special student visa at the Spanish embassy or consulate in their home countries.
Student visas may be granted to foreign nationals who can demonstrate that they have been pre-enrolled or formally admitted to an officially accredited public or private educational or scientific centre in Spain; for the purpose of studying, extending their studies, or carrying out non-remunerated research work or training activities; with a schedule that entails attendance and an expected duration of not less than three months, including the approved study/research/training plan.
